At the L.A. Institute of Clinical Dentistry and Ruiz Dental Seminars, we are continuously offering highly regarded ongoing education dental courses at our Burbank, California, location. Our faculty, led by Dr. Jose-Ruiz show dental professionals from all over how to learn the supra-gingival, minimally invasive approach to dentistry. We demonstrate proven techniques that offer predictability for dentists and better health for their patients.
Dr. Ruiz makes taking these courses a rewarding experience, as he teaches based on his own experience as a practicing dentist having used these techniques successfully thousands of times. As a dental researcher and university professor, Dr. Ruiz also knows how to convey this information along with what he has learned firsthand in an easy to understand manner. You’ll get to see how his research into supra-gingival, minimally invasive dentistry can advance your dental practice and support your patients.
Evidence-Based Implementations of Simple and Practical Implant Dentistry Using Short, Narrow, Platform, and Mini Implants
This is one of our upcoming courses at our Los Angeles Institute of Clinical Dentistry in Studio City, California. When you complete this June 2019 workshop, you will have learned a variety of useful techniques, including how to place single implants with confidence the very next Monday after the course!
You’ll learn how you can avoid dental implant issues, as well as how to restore simple implants in just two days (and over 60% of implant cases are simple) and place denture implant attachments using a logical approach to implant dentistry. This is useful information to have, as more and more patients these days don’t want to settle for fixed bridges that require having their teeth sanded down. Implant dentistry is the modern way to go and is the fastest area of growth in the dental field.
As with tooth extractions, restorative dentists can refer out difficult implant cases to specialists while successfully handling the remainder of patient implant cases. This means you will be able to restore simple implants in normal and narrow jawbone cases — without resorting to bone grafting — by using a technique that adheres to provisions placed by the 2010 Guidelines of the Academy of Osseointegration.
Learning Essentials
In a nutshell, the workshop will teach you how to decide between normal, narrow and mini-implants, and perform four realistic simulated implant placements following surgical protocol. You’ll also learn the four simple/predictable restoration procedures. You’ll be taught which types of dental X-rays and records are actually necessary, when and how you should use surgical templates and simple surgical procedures that will ensure not only safe but predictable results. You’ll also learn when it would be best to refer patient cases to a specialist.
After attending this two-day workshop you will have earned 16 CE hours and will be able to grow your practice while helping your patients achieve their best oral health!
